Republicans not tough on crime

We are suppose to believe Republicans are tough on crime when they turn the other way on the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Some Republicans even called out to defund the FBI after federal agents raided former President Trump’s Mar-aLago home.

At their rallies they spew out lies about the election, embrace QAnon, the Proud Boys and far right supremacists. Democrats wants to bring back the assault weapons ban along with background checks. Republicans, including Doug Mastriano, Mehmet Oz and Lisa Scheller, refuse to go along. So I’m supposed to believe they will be tough on crime? Give me a break. Emmanuel Glykas
