Renee M. Dragotta,

88, of Bethlehem, passed away October 27, 2022, in Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth. Her husband of 64 years, James Vincent Dragotta, died last February. They were married March 29, 1958. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mildred (Mohrey) Johnson. Renee grew up in Mount Pocono and graduated from Stroudsburg High School, Class of 1952. She received a B.S. in Mathematics from Moravian College in 1956 and

later a M.Ed from East Stroudsburg University in 1981. She began teaching in the fall of 1956 and continued teaching Mathematics and Computer Programming at Phillipsburg High School for 40 years until retirement in 1997. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. She belonged to the American Association of University Women, Warren County Retired Teachers Association and Silver Creek Country Club.

Renee is survived by her daughter Kris and husband Gordon Yerry of Bethlehem.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 4, from 10 - 11 a.m. in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem where the funeral service will follow at 11a.m. Renee will be laid to rest in Slatington Union Cemetery.
