Albert C. Libricz, Sr. (Big Al), 89, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 surrounded by his children at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He is the husband of the late Jean Frances (Rentzheime­r) Libricz. Albert was born in Bethlehem, on March 6, 1933 to the late Charles & Mary (Bednar) Libricz. He served our country faithfully in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He is a Purple Heart recipient and in 2020 received the Ambassador for Peace Medal presented from the Republic of Korea. He was a longtime member of the Catholic and National Sokols in Bethlehem and the Fullerton American Legion. Albert was a skilled tile contractor who owned and operated his own business. He also worked for and retired from the Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of Incarnatio­n of our Lord Parish – Bethlehem. Albert was an avid golfer and bowler, enjoyed gardening, listening to polka music, baking and cooking for his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Children: Diane Henrick (Richard) of Catasauqua, Constance Libricz of Bethlehem, Desiree Turbedsky (Paul) of Huntersvil­le, NC, Mary Beth Malasnik of Easton, Susan Sennetti (Joseph) of Bethlehem and Albert Libricz Jr. (Kristina) of Coplay; 12 grandchild­ren and 7 great grandchild­ren. Albert is predecease­d by sister: Florence Barta and son-in-law: Charles Malasnik.

SERVICE: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Incarnatio­n of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St, Bethlehem, 18015. A. Celebratio­n of Albert's Life will follow from 6 - 9 p.m at the Carriage House at Heintzlema­n's, 326 Main Street, (rear) Hellertown, 18055. Private graveside service.
