Floyd W. Rice, Jr., 94, formerly of Lower Nazareth Township, quietly passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Alexandria Manor in Bath. He was the husband of the late Arlene Mae (Wetzel) Rice, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2009. Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Floyd W. Sr. and Lizzie (Abel) Rice. After attending Nazareth High School, Floyd honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. A member of the Teamsters Local 429, Reading, Floyd was an oil delivery driver

for various heating oil suppliers throughout the Lehigh Valley area for 50 years, retiring from Lehigh Fuels in Emmaus. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.

Survivors: Floyd is survived by his daughter, Barbara A. Krock of Lower Nazareth Township; two granddaugh­ters, Renee Eckstein of Lower Nazareth Township, and Amy Kenney of Egg Harbor City, NJ; and two great-grandsons, Joseph C. Eckstein and Kyle F. Dallin. In addition to his wife, Arlene, he was predecease­d by a daughter, Susan Young; a son-in-law, Robert W. Krock; and two sisters, Evelyn M. Hawk and Alice R. Gradwohl.

Services: A graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Moorestown will be held privately with the family. Arrangemen­t are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
