Lillian P. Rota

Lillian (Lil) P. Rota, 87, formerly of Allentown, passed away October 24, 2022 at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. She was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Wolfer) Rosner. She was a graduate of ACCHS, class of 1953. She was the widow of the late James Rota, who passed away exactly 29 years earlier.

Lil and Jim were the proprietors of R&S Market in Allentown, PA for many years. She then worked for many years at the Allentown Osteopathic Hospital.

Lil was a long-time member at Immaculate Conception R.C.C., Allentown, PA, where she served as Eucharistic Minister. She also volunteered at the Ecumenical Soup Kitchen with a group from church, at B'nai B'rith where she resided. In addition, She volunteered at

St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus for over 20 years. Lil is survived by daughter Michelle Steiner (Shelly), wife of Timothy, of Emmaus, PA, grandchildren Coby, Derick, and Amanda, greatgrandchildren Wyatt and Nathan, she was the American Grammy to Jin Bae Jung and Seon Lee of South Korea, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held Wednesday November 2, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church, 501 Ridge Ave, Allentown, PA 18102, at 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held in church, prior to
