Honor, get to know military veterans
Honor those who saved freedom that Americans enjoy today. Veterans have a sense of community regardless of their branch of service. Beyond “thank you for your service,” get to know someone who served to learn why. The experience of service with fellow military members. Military members represent American diversity. The desire to serve the United States supersedes personal experience. Today the core focus is on identity, feelings and environmental impact instead of training to gain knowledge of equipment and skills training. Recruitment goals are not being met now. If this trend continues, this country will be in jeopardy with fewer veterans.
