Ralph William

“Bill” Klopp, 97, of Allentown, passed away November 3,

2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Fern E. (Speicher) Klopp.

From 1949 to 1976, Ralph was a Regional Supervisor at Aetna in Allentown, he then worked from

1976 to 1978 at the Pennsylvan­ia Insurance Department and from 1978 to1988 he worked at the National Flood Insurance Department until retiring.

Born in Bethel, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph C. and Amy (Stupp) Klopp. Ralph was a 1943 graduate of Bethel High School, where he was class President and Salutatori­an. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Ralph was a life

member of the Bethel V.F.W. and was 1st Post Adjutant and 3rd Post Commander of the Bethel American Legion Post #991.

Sister: Josephine Muth of Fleetwood, SisterIn-Law: Mabel Klopp of Elizabetht­own, Step Sister: Dorothy Althouse of Rehrersbur­g, PA, Grandchild­ren: Amy Krause of Allentown, Elizabeth Krause and her companion Chris of Macungie and Charlton Krause and his wife Jennifer of Stockton, CA and GreatGrand­children: Kile Evans, Maia Nimeh, Jeremy Krause and Avery Krause. He was preceded in death by a Son: Willam A. Klopp and Brothers: Burt Klopp, John Klopp and Baby Klopp.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton

Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Monday, from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Condolence­s may be offered at: www.jsburkhold­er.com. Interment with Military

Honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
