Linda H. Nickelson

Linda H. Nickelson, of Hazleton, passed away Monday at

Lehigh Valley Hospital,

Cedar Crest. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of John Purdom and Patricia (Boettke) Berki.

She worked in various ophthalmologist offices and recently with Dr. Mark Moran at Lehigh Valley Center for Sight, Allentown. She enjoyed spending time with kids, gardening, taking care of her mother, skiing, laughing and enjoying time with people, and she was friendly to all she met.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brothers John, Glenn, Michael, and Matthew Purdom; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
