John W. Reppert
John W. Reppert, 92, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Devon House. He was the husband of the late Shirley Ann (Mesics) Reppert.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl L. and Elizabeth J. (Hoch) Reppert. He worked in the maintenance department of the former General Electric and Black and Decker for over 30 years before retiring. He served in the USMC during the Korean War, the Chosen Reservoir Campaign.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi
Catholic Church. He was a former member
and Commandant of the local Marine Corps League, avid hunter and fisherman, and water color artist. He enjoyed cooking and baking, winning many ribbons at the Allentown Fair. He coached baseball, basketball, and football for
St. Francis. He was the founder of the St. Francis Athletic Association, Catholic Youth Association of Northampton, and The Valley Football Camp.
He will be remembered as a mentor and friend to many of his former athletes he coached. Survivors: Son John Reppert II of Virginia

Ann wife of Vincent Tran; James J. Reppert, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Mae, Brayden Louis, Fiona Elizabeth, and Ava Selene. He was predeceased by a sister Ann Elizabeth Polek. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2022, in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 1046 W. Cedar St, Allentown. Burial with Military Honors will
immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial
Park. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am in the
church. Arrangements by Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
