Janice Ann Knepper entered into eternal peace on November 7, 2022, in hospice at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. Born in South Tamaqua, on February 28, 1940, to Walter C. and Esther L. (Dreisbach) Knepper. Janice was a proud 1958 Tamaqua High School graduate. Despite becoming a paraplegic at 19, she overcame many adversities and lived a full active life independently, working and traveling. She was an original resident of B'nai B'rith Apartments in Allentown, where she lived for many years before moving to Cedarbrook

Nursing Home 5 years ago. Janice was a secretary for many years and was an expert at shorthand which she was very proud. She lived in Melbourne FL for a bit and even took a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth II with a dear lifelong friend Merle "Bud" Rosen. She was an active member of the Allentown Seventh-Day

Adventist Church. Janice loved spending time visiting with her family and friends chatting the hours away. She also loved to eat any kind of food. Janice was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Kathryn, Beatrice and Dolores. Also brothers, Carlton and Dalphon. She is survived by sisters, Barbara Kreamer of Lancaster, Phyllis Greene (Paul) of New Ringgold and Rhoday Walper of Allentown, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Janice wished for no funeral services to have people mourning her passing. Please choose to do random acts of kindness to honor her instead and live your life to the fullest every day. Arrangements entrusted to Hunsicker Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Orefield.
