Russell J. Haas

Russell J. Haas, 95, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Riverton Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Allentown. Born on October 26, 1927, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Lillian (Singer) Haas, Sr. Russell and his wife, Virginia M. (Sinsky), celebrated 65 years of marriage

together. He was employed as a manager for Hoch Contracting for many years. Russell honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 367. Russell was an avid golfer and enjoyed doing projects around the house. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by son, Michael; grandchildren, Tara and husband Matt Golitko, Scott and wife, Amanda; greatgrandchildren, Prissyla, Leightyn and Tibyas. He was preceded in death by brothers, George Jr and Arthur. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
