Rep. Schweyer to hold veterans outreach

State Rep. Peter Schweyer will hold a veterans outreach program 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at his office, 1501 Lehigh St., Suite, 206, Allentown.

A veterans outreach specialist from the American Legion will be available to discuss programs and services available for veterans and their families and provide assistance as well in the application process. The specialist will also be available to discuss pensions, other forms of compensation, educational opportunities, health care and benefits.

Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help. Those interested in meeting with the adviser must schedule an appointment through Schweyer’s office by calling 610-791-6270.
