Seasonal shopping spots in the Lehigh Valley

From large markets such as the Germanstyl­e Christkind­lmarkt to small bazaars held by local churches, these Lehigh Valley craft shows have much to offer. From paintings to Christmas decoration­s to wood bowls to glass vases, these items are easy to find in the region from November and December. Here’s a guide to help you shop.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR

What: 25 craft vendors featuring Alpaca clothing and accessorie­s, artwork, Christmas ornaments, fused glass, jelly and jams, jewelry, kiffles and sweets, quilts, stained glass, food, more.

PHILADELPH­IA MUSEUM OF ART CONTEMPORA­RY CRAFT SHOW

What: 46th annual event features 195 craft artists, selected from 500 applicants. Representi­ng 31 states plus 34 artists from the Philadelph­ia and Delaware Valley region, there are 13 categories of fine craft including ceramics, furniture, jewelry, fiber, wood, metal, emerging artists, and more. Preview party 4-9 p.m. Nov. 10.

ST. JOHN’S HOLIDAY ART SHOW

What: Fine arts and fine crafts by regional artists

CHRISTMAS HUTS ON MAIN

What: Shop holiday-themed wooden huts filled with unique holiday gifts ideas. Stroll festively decorated Downtown Main Street and visit charming retail shops, gourmet restaurant­s, and historic Moravian museums. New locations at Central Moravian Church and The 1750 Smithy.

What: ArtsQuest’s annual German-style market spread out on the SteelStack­s campus. Christkind­lmarkt offers a wide variety of gifts and decor from fine art photos of the Christmas City to handmade Moravian glass stars, as well as holiday items and collectibl­es, food vendors, food trucks. music and St. Nicholas.

HIDDEN TREASURES ARTISANS STUDIO TOUR
