Wild beats Scheller in rematch

Democrat Susan Wild defeated Republican Lisa Scheller in the 7th Congressional District race, a rematch of the 2020 election. Due to the addition of Republican-leaning Carbon County into the race after redistricting, many polls considered the race a tossup, but Wild easily won Lehigh County, did better than expected in Northampton County to offset Scheller’s advantage in Carbon County.
