Jon Rutledge Roth, Sr.

Jon Rutledge Roth,

Sr., 80, of Lowhill Township passed away at LVH Inpatient Hospice on November 12, 2022. Born in

Perth Amboy, NJ on January 23, 1942, Jon was the son of the late Dr. Alton J. Roth and Katherine Crouse Roth. He was the devoted husband of Dolores (Lotz) Roth for 58 years. After graduating from

Upsala College with a BA in Economics, Jon was employed by First National Bank of Allentown. While working

in branch banking, he opened and managed the College Park Branch before becoming a commercial lender. Jon was a constant for his customers as banks were acquired and merged throughout the years. Jon cared for his customers and enjoyed golf with his colleagues. He doted on his dogs and horses and loved his family deeply. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Dolores, Jon was the proud father of Jon Rutledge Roth, Jr., of Kunkletown and Laura S. Roth-Nesley of Lowhill Township. In addition, Jon is survived by brother, Lee B. Roth of Flemington, NJ and grandchildren, Noah, Leah, and Julia.

Service: Private and at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Jon's life will be announced in the spring. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of
