Country needs problem solvers
I try to keep my comments politically neutral, but I’m finding it harder all the time.
If the GOP does not want to guarantee a loss in the 2024 election, the party needs to stop worshiping at the altar of “the Donald” the divisive “leader” of the party. It is time for Republicans to move on and nominate a responsible adult. The man acts like a 7th grader with his name calling and put downs of people in his own party.
The party needs to the return to the party of Eisenhower, when Republicans preached fiscal responsibility and a mild form of conservatism, not the extreme divisiveness that exists now. We have all sorts of election deniers and other such nonsensical individuals such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Kari Lake, et al. running around with no new ideas. Not that the Democrats can keep from being outdone, they still have people such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez talking all kinds of nonsense such as government giveaways and the like. Joe Biden just turned 80 and the Democrats have no backup for him. We need to find the middle ground, unite as a country and actually solve our many problems.
