Paula Jane (Reinsmith) Noga Barron, 52, of Freemansburg, PA died peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a short illness at
St. Luke's Anderson Campus December
27, 2022 at 4:59 PM.
She was the beloved wife of Al “Corky” Barron with whom she shared over 12 years of loving marriage. Paula was born March 26, 1970 at St. Luke's Hospital Fountain
Hill to Robert Reinsmith and Nancy L. (Nagle) Reinsmith of Allen Twp. Paula was raised in the protestant faith. Paula graduated in 1988 from Salisbury High School and received her Associates Degree from Lehigh County Community College in 1990. Paula was a workaholic and loved to spend time with family and friends. She began her first job at age 15 at Traubs Supermarket followed by IGA where she was promoted to a management position while attending high school full time. After graduating college, she worked at several local travel agencies as an agent and taught courses to future travel agents. Paula later began working at the Allentown School District as a secretary for over 15 years. Following that, she was most recently employed by Southern Lehigh High School as a secretary for the past 9 years. In addition to her many volunteer efforts (including volunteering for over 21 years) at the Great Allentown Fair (with the boys and girls club and MunOpCo music theater), Musikfest, Celticfest, and Liberty Highschool Band Parent. She was also a member of several private clubs including the Jeffs, and the Northend Republican Club just to name a few. But her heart and soul belonged to the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club in Bethlehem where she was an Executive Board Member and Server. Paula loved all forms of music, especially going to see, support, and promote local musicians whenever she could. Her current love was for country music, but her true loves were for Rick Springfield, The Struts, and the Rolling Stones. She was a big fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and loved to spend time with friends and travel.
Paula is survived by her husband, Al “Corky” Barron of Freemansburg; son, Ian Noga of Easton; stepdaughter, Ceci Barron; father,
Robert Reinsmith, and mother, Nancy L. (Nagle) Reinsmith of Allen Twp.; brother, Steven and his wife, Lisa (Wilson) Reinsmith of Allen Twp.; canine companion, Spiller the Glam Rocker. A celebration of life party will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, 904 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
