Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering needs a specialized volunteer to help with various email communications.

Are you interested in meeting the needs of vulnerable children and families in the Lehigh Valley?
You can easily get involved by registering with Keystone Family Alliance’s Gateway computer portal system. After a quick signup process, you will begin to receive periodic emails stating the needs of local families (i.e., diapers, pajamas, etc.). You can purchase any of the items that you choose. Do you have a strong
back and a large vehicle to transport boxes of food?
Northeast Community Center in Bethlehem needs assistance with food pickups from Second Harvest Food Bank 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday mornings. Transport boxes in your vehicle to NECC and help to unload boxes into the food pantry. COVID vaccine card and a criminal background clearance required. Do you have basic data entry skills and are comfortable working in an office environment?

Drivers are needed to take seniors or disabled clients grocery shopping
and/or to medical appointments.
Mileage reimbursement available and excess automobile insurance provided by ShareCare Faith in Action. Must submit to a criminal background check and attend an orientation training. Sights for Hope is in search of compassionate and energetic individuals to assist visually impaired clients during center-based and community-based programs.

The Caring Place Youth Development Center in Allentown needs volunteers to help in the kitchen to prepare meals for afterschool programs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Start the new year by coordinating a donation drive of food for student weekend meal packages as well as personal care items, paper products and diapers for food pantry clients.
