Rose Marie Boyer

Rose Marie Boyer, 86, of Allentown, passed away of natural causes on December 26, 2022. She was the wife of the late William F. Boyer. She was the daughter of the late Emery A. Sofranko and Rose D. Lesisko. Rose Marie worked as an Office Manager at Wood’s Catering and City Blue Print. In her spare time, she loved cooking, baking, knitting, camping, and polkas.Known for being supportive, well disciplined, organized, and a good speaker.

She was a loving believer in Jesus Christ and a lifelong Catholic. She was a long-time member of Nar-Anon and served as Eastern PA area chairperson, regional chairperson, delegate, and board member, and served on several World Service Committees.Also known as “Mickey”, Rose loved being a grandmother and great grandmother, and she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by son William and his wife Denise; son Charles and his wife Heather; daughter Debra and her husband Mark; daughter Cathy and her husband Stacey; son Thomas and his wife Bobbi Jo, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brother-in-law Norbert and sister-in-law Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her brother Norbert & his wife Libby; sister Bernetta and her husband Gerald; sister Patricia and her husband Martin; as well as her brother Robert and her sister Jeanne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at The Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 W Turner St, Allentown, PA 18104, at 11:00 AM. A Visitation will be held prior to mass from 10:30-11:00.
