Valentine’s Day Special — Archery for Couples: 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 11. Have you been hit by Cupid’s arrow? In this two-hour intro-to-archery program you will learn to accurately shoot a bow and spend quality time with your partner. Warm fire will be provided to keep the relationship from getting cold. Dress for the weather and plan on spending the entire time outdoors. Registration for a minimum of two is required.
Valentine’s Day Special — Archery for Singles: 1-3 p.m. Feb. 11. Meet other singles at this two-hour intro-to-archery program where you will learn the steps to shooting a bow accurately. You may choose to commiserate about your relationship status with others by the fire provided or use your new archery skills to become your own Cupid. Either way, it will be a fun time. Dress for the weather and plan on spending the entire time outdoors.
Family Science Night — Wings and Things: 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 17. Wings are found on many different types of animals. Learn why certain animals are able to live in the sky while others remain on the ground. Families will then craft their own flighty friends to complete in various aeronautical challenges.
Exploring Jacobsburg’s Foundations — A Walk in the Remnants: 10-11:30 a.m. Feb. 25. Historically, the Bushkill Creek was dammed and diverted for many activities. On this exploratory walk, piece together the clues of the past to imagine the village which would eventually become our namesake.
