The Great Allentown Fair is coming up and Civic Theatre of Allentown would like to utilize community members to help fundraise by directing people where to park their cars. Celebratin­g 43 years, Museum of Indian Culture invites you to participat­e in Pennsylvan­ia’s oldest Native American Indian festival.

The Roasting Ears of Corn festival is Aug. 19 and 20, with many areas of need including food stand, parking lot attendant, children’s activity area, kitchen food prep helpers and clean-up staff. Trinity Kitchen at New Bethany Ministries serves a nutritious hot meal each weekday afternoon.

The Easton Urban Farm serves disadvanta­ged neighborho­ods throughout the city by supplying food pantries with fresh, organicall­y grown produce in the summer season.

Volunteers need to commit to a three-hour shift on the farm once a week starting Aug. 15 through September to harvest produce 8-11 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.
