The Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank is seeking computer savvy volunteers

to help in the intake office. This is a good opportunit­y for individual­s who want to give back to the community by assisting at the food bank without having to be physically active. How can you help continue enriching the lives of children with special needs?

Partner with Camelot for Children staff and board members to coordinate planning, resource needs, event marketing, on-site oversight and post-event debrief for the annual fundraisin­g event, “Bring in the Magic Gala,” to be held in April 2024 at The Vault in Allentown. Can you help us by picking up donated food from Giant at 25th street in Easton and bringing it to Easton Area Community Center?

Did you know that the Friends of Gracedale Foundation provides a Christmas gift to each of our nearly 450 residents?

These gifts, along with donated items, need to be wrapped … and wrapping these many gifts is no easy task. Gift wrapping will take place at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 18 and 19. Minimum age 14 with adult. Covid-19 vaccinatio­n required. Sights for Hope volunteers will assist clients with visual impairment during the weekly walk 9-10:30 a.m. every Wednesday. This weekly walk gives clients the opportunit­y to enhance their fitness and socialize with other clients and volunteers. Training provided. Background checks required. While cats are waiting for their forever homes,

help staff at The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, Easton, clean the cat rooms and cages to ensure the cats stay clean and healthy.
