Donald R. Bogusky

-

Donald “Don” Richard Bogusky, aged 72, passed away on February 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve “Dolly” (DeRaimondo) Bogusky, with whom he shared a remarkable journey of nearly 54 years in holy matrimony, having exchanged vows on September 25, 1970. Born in Easton, Don was the adored son of Joseph and Katherine (Foulk) Bogusky. He pursued his education at Wilson High School, Easton, and went on to lead a fulfilling life as an automobile mechanic, inventor, technical specialist, and champion of integrity and truth. Don owned and operated Integrity Auto. He started his own company, Program Products, helping special needs children and their families. Later in his career, he contributed two decades of dedicated service to Bosch Rexroth. After he retired, he played a foundational role in the Election Integrity Project Taskforce.

Don’s unwavering faith and commitment to God were evident in his activities and contributions to CrossWay Church. He found solace, strength, and purpose in his spiritual journey, leaving an enduring legacy of faith for those who knew him.

When reflecting on his life, Don shared, “I have tried to be cheerful and helpful to people and to leave them feeling better than when we met - sometimes using humor to do so.” His warm spirit, kind heart, and sense of humor endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Don is survived by his loving wife, Dolly, and their two sons residing in San José, California: Dondi Angelo (Ravisha) and Joseph Daniel (Lam). He leaves behind his cherished grandson Kiran David with whom he had many deeply spiritual conversations.

Don is also survived by his sister, who was a caretaker for Don from an early age, Heddy

Ann Vymazal (Paul); brother, James Bogusky (Kathleen); sister-in-law, Mary; and nieces and nephews, Brian, Christopher, Jedd, Nikki, Kristy, and Michael. He was preceded in death by his two sons, David Thomas and infant Andrew, and two brothers, Ronald Foulk (Judy) and Joseph H. Bogusky (Joyce).

We thank him for the many, many blessings he gave to his family and the love that he surrounded us with everyday. We will miss him and love him forever. A celebration of Don’s life will take place on Monday, March 11, at 11:00 am, at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA.
