Ruth Rauch (Wagner) Henry, 94, formerly of Schnecksville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Luther Crest Continuing

Care Retirement Community,

Allentown. She was the wife of the late Reverend Harold George Henry. Born in Cetronia, October 15, 1929, Ruth was the daughter of the late Ellis G. and Elda S.E. (Rauch) Wagner. She was a 1947 graduate of the former South Whitehall High School, and at the age of 52, in 1981, she completed her BA from Duke University. She then went on to earn a Licensed Practical Nurse degree and worked at the North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill,

NC. She later spent several years working in the Nursing Center at Luther Crest. Ruth was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville where she sang with the choir. Survivors: Children, Patricia W. Henry of Plymouth, MA, Susan W. Henry of Oriental,

NC, Richard W. Henry of Chapel Hill, NC; granddaughter, Taylor Henry Meyer (Bradley) of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren, Henry Luke Meyer, Selah Lucinda Meyer; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Henry of Schnecksville; nieces, Julie Wehr (Philip) of Neffs, Nonee Lee Wagner (Daniel Hoban) of Cherry Hill, NJ; predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Wagner.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 PA Route 873, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 am. – 10:30 am. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. The Heintzelman
