Amazing how the hypocritical media pounce on any news that could disparage the current president. Some call it Trump derangement syndrome.

A recent Washington Post article in The Morning Call “revealed” that a golf club owned by the Trump family was guilty of employing a few illegals. Of course the president is the guilty party and is a hypocrite, according to the Post.

What struck me was the ending where the supposed illegal immigrant admits to using a fake Social Security card. Why is this person not in jail?

Fake cards are many times the result of identity theft, causing untold anguish and financial problems for the person whose identity is stolen. But we need to have compassion for these helpless people. Not!

Any American citizen who did the same would already be incarcerated. Jail and not deportation should be the lot for these lawbreakers, regardless of immigration status.
