Harry E. Quirk, Sr. of Richlandto­wn, formerly of Springtown, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday January 7, 2019. Loving husband of Carol (Welton) Quirk, devoted father of Harry Jr. (Ellen), Kathleen Nicolo (Richard), Kevin (Corly). Also survived by 8 grandchild­ren, 6 great-grandchild­ren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as brothers, Paul and Joseph Quirk and sister, Margaret Cymerman.

Harry was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Elsie Quirk (Corradetti), and brothers, John, Frank, Edward, and sister, Patricia Connelly.

Born in Minersvill­e, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Margaret Egan Quirk.

Harry was a graduate of NE Catholic High School for Boys and attended Temple University.

He served in the U.S. Army as part of the occupation of Japan shortly after WWII under the command of General Douglas MacArthur.

Harry was employed by Geppert Brothers Inc. for 42 years prior to retiring in 1993.

Harry was an active member of both the Pennsylvan­ia and New Jersey Live Steamers Clubs. He had many hobbies and interests, especially small scale live steam locomotive­s. He was an avid reader, particular­ly interested in military history.

His greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially his grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, where the family will receive guests after 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons in Harry's name may be made to Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, 108 South Main Street, Richlandto­wn, PA 18955-1048.
