Dogs

Ana and Tria

Ana, age 9 and Tria, age 1 German shepherds Females Ana has been the absolute best companion ever; Tria is in training to take over when Ana passes on.

Loyal, sweet, great temperament,

In four words:

obedient.

Great temperaments.

Ana is extremely protective of Mommy, Sara, and barks when guests leave as well as when they come, she does not want them to leave. Tria is just developing her personality even though she loves being with Mommy and Daddy.

Best trait: Personality:

When Tria arrived from Florida at 8 weeks old, December 2017, she was litter trained. The breeder told us not to take her out in the cold at her age. When the weather started getting warmer, we took her out to train her to go potty outside. For several weeks we would walk her for up to half an hour and no luck but as soon as she was in the house she would go to her “bin” and go potty. But, soon we were prepared to have a huge party when she would go outside. As soon as this happened, with consistency and praise, she soon was completely house-broken.

Mommy.

Most obedient commands even though Tria is still working on her skills.

Running and playing in their kennel; Ana’s is mostly sleeping.

AnaBana. None yet for Tria. Tria is short for AusTRIA.

A funny story: Loves: Tricks: Exercise: Nicknames: Shows affection by:

Licking us and lying by

Can usually be found: Likes to be rubbed:

Wherever we are.

Ana, on her belly; Tria, all

Ana has no favorites anymore, Tria took them all. Tria has a two-foot alligator called Miss Ally.

Favorite toy: Favorite treat:

meals.

Comments:

The occasional taste from our Ana, the vacuum. Tria, nothing. Tria is still a naughty puppy. Allergies.

Tria in her crate and Ana has the roam of the house, but sleeps mostly in our bedroom.

Afraid of: Worst habit: Health scares: Favorite sleeping spot:

Each other. Ana is actually Tria’s great aunt; they are from the same breeder.

Favorite animal friend:

We have to spell certain words in Ana’s presence as she gets too excited about walks, car rides, etc.

Gene is a retired pastor and while we lived in a parsonage, we had Scottish terriers. We loved our Scotties, but when we retired and now live in the country, Gene allowed Sara one German shepherd. Wanting to have Ana’s replacement ready to step into the role of companion and protector for Sara, Gene allowed the second one. Our daughter lives an hour away and our son lives in Texas. So, these two girls make our retirement days very happy.

Strange but true:
