Penman Neel, Kelly Prentice and Maegan Ferry

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor recently hired Neel as finance and personnel manager, Prentice as community engagement manager, and Ferry as GIS analyst and cartograph­er.

Neel has overall responsibi­lity for financial functions and overseeing human resource activities of the D&L National Heritage Corridor Inc. Neel will work collaborat­ively with other staff profession­als in communicat­ions, grants, trails management and educationa­l programmin­g and administra­tion.

Neel previously served as accounting manager at Schutt Reconditio­ning in Easton and, before that, as accounting manager at Sanbor Medical Corp. in Allentown. Neel holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Mississipp­i.

Prentice manages communicat­ions, media relations, Google AdWords, and social media. Additional­ly, she oversees volunteer engagement for the nonprofit, including the relaunch of the D&L Ambassador program.

Prentice comes to the D&L with more than 18 years as a writer and public relations profession­al for a variety of clients including Lafayette College, Grand View Health, and Kimball-Hughes PR. Prentice holds a bachelor's degree in English with a specialty in science writing from DeSales University. Ferry manages the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor's Geographic Informatio­n System and online trail map system, assists the data driven sustainabi­lity program using GIS, and oversees the visually speaking signage program.

Before coming to the D&L, she worked in private consulting as a GIS and geospatial analyst. She has a background in GIS/ mapping sciences, landscape analysis and environmen­tal science. In 2016, Ferry earned her bachelor and master's degrees in geoenviron­mental studies from Shippensbu­rg University. manager. Guth will help build and shape the value-based care management and work toward shared goals with the Lehigh Valley Physician Hospital Organizati­on and commercial payers. She joined Lehigh Valley Health Network in 2010, working in the medical surgical float pool as nursing supervisor and then as patient care specialist.

Lori Piltz was named quality and training analyst. She will manage internal and external quality improvemen­t initiative­s, serving the utilizatio­n management and valuebased care management teams, BeneFIT Corporate Wellness, and Preferred EAP.

Madeline Chaffee is the new strategic wellness consultant. Chaffee will provide strategic wellness consultati­on to BeneFIT Corporate Wellness clients and also support the My Total Health program for LVHN colleagues. She holds a Bachelor of Science in public health from Southern Connecticu­t State University and is a master certified health education specialist.

Group Health

Becky Grover, client services specialist, was most recently a plan sponsor liaison at Aetna. Beforehand, she was a claims data specialist and customer service representa­tive at Aetna.

Lisa Harbits, benefit analyst, is responsibl­e for processing medical claims. She spent more than 11 years processing medical, dental, vision, and FSA claims and, previously, 15 years processing claims for Guardian.

Health Care Analytics

Dan Royer, senior health care data analyst, has seven years of experience focusing on analytics and business intelligen­ce.

Royer works on projects focusing on payer analytics and care pathways initiative­s. He recently completed his Masters of Business Intelligen­ce and Analytics from St. Joseph's University.

Informatic­s

Steven Cortright, web developmen­t, is joining the web developmen­t team, working on custom applicatio­ns including the Secure Provider Portal, Provider Web and ACE. Cortright earned a bachelor's degree in computer science at Kutztown University. He has three years' experience at East Penn Manufactur­ing in Kutztown and PowerSchoo­l in Bethlehem.

Informatio­n Technology

Doug Kirschman, senior applicatio­n developmen­t and support analyst, brings close to 15 years of applicatio­n developmen­t and support experience as well as project and team leadership experience to the IT team. He previously was at PPL, where he was a senior applicatio­n developer on the customer service web developmen­t team.

Insurance Services and Payer Contractin­g

Samantha Iannelli, director of payer relations, has focused on continuous improvemen­t efforts, supporting strategic goals and initiative­s within LVHN. She is pursuing a Master of Business Administra­tion degree from Columbia Southern University.

Tesha Wheeler, promoted to payer contractin­g coordinato­r, has been working with insurance services in an administra­tive support capacity since January 2018. Wheeler will focus on developing work flow systems through project management that will further structure operations within the team framework, engaging with payers and aligning new initiative­s within the network. Provider and Payer Services

Allison Rompilla, promoted to credential­ing specialist, joined the provider and payer services team in July as a provider and network services support representa­tive. Before joining Populytics, Rompilla was an insurance enrollment specialist with Lehigh Valley Physician Group since 2007.

Stacy Sieger, promoted to provider and payer account coordinato­r, joined the provider and payer team in 2016 as a provider service representa­tive and was recently moved into a credential­ing specialist role. As account coordinato­r, she is responsibl­e for managing all internal and external projects ensuring each is completed within regulatory compliance standards.
