Record-setters to hit PPL Center
Fresh from adding to their haul of Guinness World Records, the Harlem Globetrotters will be in Allentown at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 for an appearance at PPL Center.
Tickets for the Globetrotters' 2019 Fan Powered World Tour are available at harlemglobe trotters.com, pplcenter.com, the QNB Box Office at PPL Center or by phone at 610-347-8499. On the most recent Guinness World Record day, the Globetrotters added five more records, bringing their total to 21.
One of the team's biggest stars, Bull Bullard, made a somersault basketball shot at a staggering 58 feet, 1.25 inches from the basket. Other records were:
Most basketball under-the-leg tumbles in one minute (female) — Torch George (32)
Most blindfolded basketball slam dunks in one minute — Zeus McClurkin (5)
Most behind-the-back threepointers in one minute — Zeus McClurkin (3)
Most under-the-leg-slam dunks by a team using a trampoline in one minute — Flying Globies trampoline-dunk team (28)

The Globetrotters roster showcases Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Hammer Harrison, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard, Firefly Fisher and Cheese Chisholm — plus female stars TNT Lister, Torch George and Hoops Green.
Prior to every performance, fans can secure a ticket to Magic Pass, which gives them access to the stars of the team, an opportunity to learn tricks, shoot hoops and take pictures on the court. After each game, fans can participate in a free autograph session.
An exciting new element fans can look forward to this year is an interactive mobile app with exclusive features, including an augmented reality basketball toss game, and one-of-a-kind image filters that can be shared on social media.
Also back by popular demand, fans will also get a chance to see the Flying Globies defy gravity during breaks in the game action.
