Norris McLaughlin opens Easton office

The law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., announced it has expanded into Easton with an office located at 205 S. Seventh Street. The office boasts a convenient location across from the Easton Courthouse.

LVBCH announces new vision partner EyeMed

The Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Healthcare has selected EyeMed as its new vision plan partner. In making the selection, the LVBCH Board of Directors has endorsed EyeMed as a “preferred partner.”

To earn the coalition’s preferred partner status, EyeMed participat­ed in an extensive review process. EyeMed offers LVBCH members the largest vision network, enhanced product features, preferred pricing, along with award winning customer service. This partnershi­p provides LVBCH’s employer members more flexibilit­y to customize a vision plan that best meets their needs. Using a market-based approach, the coalition negotiates rates that are exclusive to employer members and better than individual employers could obtain on their own.

B. Braun Interventi­onal Systems announces U.S. commercial launch of product

B. Braun Interventi­onal Systems Inc. in collaborat­ion with NuMED Inc. announced the U.S. launch of the NuDEL CP Stent Delivery System, intended for the treatment of coarctatio­n of the aorta and right ventricula­r outflow tract conduit disruption­s. The announceme­nt was made during the SCAI 2019 Scientific Sessions, which took place May 19–22 in Las Vegas.

The NuDEL Stent Delivery System is the latest state-of-the-art addition to the BIS congenital and structural heart portfolio and is a line extension to the CP Stent family of products manufactur­ed by NuMED. Comprised of a pre-mounted Covered CP Stent on a balloon in balloon catheter that is preloaded inside of a kink-resistant sheath, the NuDEL system provides physicians with an “all-in-one” device for the treatment of congenital heart defects.

Hartman’s Butcher Shop wins award

Hartman’s Butcher Shop in New Tripoli recently won internatio­nal recognitio­n for the company’s meat products at the DFVAAMP Quality Competitio­n for Sausage and Ham. The results from the competitio­n were held in conjunctio­n with the IFFA, the world’s largest meat industry trade fair. Hartman’s was awarded two gold medals for landjager and it Restructur­ed Hillbilly Jerky and a silver medal for skinless shankless smoked cooked ham.
