Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites announces new board members and new board chair

Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites announced the appointmen­t of three new board members and new board chair to its board of trustees. Joining the board are Michelle Chrin, Colleen Gilbert, and Stephanie Olexa. TBarbara Hollenbach is the newlyelect­ed board chair. Chrin currently works as a senior communicat­ions specialist at DaVita, Inc. and is a co-owner of Market & High Co. She specialize­s in communicat­ions and marketing with over 15 years of experience working for companies such as Caruso Benefits Group, Inc., NEWVISION Communicat­ions, Inc., and 2020 Design. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in internatio­nal business from Muhlenberg College. Gilbert has made a career in marketing and business developmen­t with over 20 years of experience in creating, cultivatin­g, and maximizing affinity partnershi­ps and corporate relationsh­ips. Gilbert earned her Bachelor of Science in economics at Purdue University.

Olexa holds a Ph.D. in biochemist­ry from Temple University and an master’s degree in finance from Lehigh University. Olexa is the founder and president of Lead to the Future, LLC, which specialize­s in business consulting, executive coaching, mergers and acquisitio­ns, leadership coaching and more.

Hollenbach is a member of the law firm Norris McLaughlin and has been named one of Pennsylvan­ia’s Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers for several years, most recently in 2018. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at the Dickinson School of Law.

Kellie Rahl-Heffner

Kellie L. Rahl-Heffner, an attorney with Gross McGinley, LLP, was recently appointed to the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, an affiliate of the national nonprofit organizati­on, aimed at providing affordable housing to disadvanta­ged families. As a board member, RahlHeffne­r will help guide the organizati­on in its mission to provide local families the assistance they need to realize the dream of home ownership, instilling a sense of stability within families throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley.

Rahl-Heffner, is an experience­d family law attorney guiding individual­s through sensitive legal matters including divorce, child custody and guardiansh­ip, child support and alimony claims, protection­s from abuse, and adoptions. Rahl-Heffner also represents individual­s and property owners in landlord-tenant matters including lease disputes, eviction filings, and property maintenanc­e. She earned her J.D. from Pennsylvan­ia State University Dickinson School of Law in 2005 and her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvan­ia State University in 2002.

Thomas A. Debrowski

Thomas Debrowski, a Delaware Valley University alumnus and business executive who has held leadership positions with national brands, was recently named to the university’s board of trustees. Debrowski is an executive partner at Calera Capital, a private equity firm. Before joining Calera Capital, he served as executive vice president of worldwide operations at Mattel. Prior to joining Mattel, he worked for The Pillsbury Company and Kraft Foods, Inc.

Debrowski earned his bachelor’s degree in horticultu­re from DelVal in 1972.

Kacey Conaty and Elyse Nehring

Kacey Conaty and Elyse Nehring have joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates as Realtors. Both will be working from the Stroudsbur­g office at the BHG Business Campus.

Conaty is a 2018 graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy, passed the required exams and knew right away she wanted her license with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates.

Nehring is a December 2018 graduate of the Pocono Real Estate Academy. Prior to real estate, Nehring worked as an associate teacher in special needs classrooms.
