Walk a mile in seniors’ shoes before complaining

The Morning Call - - TOWN SQUARE A PLACE TO BE HEARD -

There was a letter recently published in The Morning Call saying the seniors should stop complaining about taxes. This person that wrote this letter does not know what it is like to live on Social Security and no other income.

When I was working, it was tough but we got by. Now that we had to retire because of medical problems, it is a lot harder. My husband is on many prescriptions, and we only get a check once a month. We still have bills to pay and taxes.

Whoever complains about seniors should have to live on a reduced income, and then we would see who is complaining. Seniors do not have the luxury of getting paid weekly or every other week.

People should not complain about seniors. In the future they will also become seniors.
