Irene Southard

Irene Southard has joined RE/MAX Cen­tral as a sales as­so­ci­ate in the Al­len­town of­fice. Prior to be­com­ing a real es­tate agent, Southard taught in el­e­men­tary school, grades 2 to 5, for five years, and mid­dle school, grades 6 to 8, for seven years teach­ing pre-al­ge­bra.

Southard at­tended Queens Col­lege and grad­u­ated with a bach­e­lor’s de­gree in el­e­men­tary ed­u­ca­tion and a bach­e­lor’s de­gree in so­ci­ol­ogy. She also at­tended Brook­lyn Col­lege from which she grad­u­ated with 21 cred­its and is li­censed to teach K-8 Math­e­mat­ics.

Prior to HNL, Wang was the di­rec­tor at the Na­tional Eye In­sti­tute/NIH, an NEI DNA Di­ag­nos­tic Lab­o­ra­tory in Bethesda, Mary­land. He also served as the med­i­cal di­rec­tor of Molec­u­lar Di­ag­nos­tics Lab­o­ra­tory, Depart­ment of Lab­o­ra­tory Medicine and Pathol­ogy at the Univer­sity of Min­nesota and held mul­ti­ple po­si­tions as di­rec­tor, as­sis­tant lab­o­ra­tory di­rec­tor and re­search and de­vel­op­ment di­rec­tor at Johns Hop­kins Univer­sity School of Medicine, McKu­sick-Nathans In­sti­tute of Ge­netic Medicine in Bal­ti­more, Mary­land.

Wang re­ceived his bach­e­lor’s de­gree in medicine from Beijing Univer­sity and earned his Ph.D. at SUNY, Buf­falo. Wang com­pleted his clin­i­cal fel­low­ships in molec­u­lar ge­net­ics and clin­i­cal cy­to­ge­net­ics at Johns Hop­kins Univer­sity, McKu­sick-Nathans In­sti­tute of Ge­netic Medicine.
