Irene Southard has joined RE/MAX Central as a sales associate in the Allentown office. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Southard taught in elementary school, grades 2 to 5, for five years, and middle school, grades 6 to 8, for seven years teaching pre-algebra.
Southard attended Queens College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She also attended Brooklyn College from which she graduated with 21 credits and is licensed to teach K-8 Mathematics.

Prior to HNL, Wang was the director at the National Eye Institute/NIH, an NEI DNA Diagnostic Laboratory in Bethesda, Maryland. He also served as the medical director of Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota and held multiple positions as director, assistant laboratory director and research and development director at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
Wang received his bachelor’s degree in medicine from Beijing University and earned his Ph.D. at SUNY, Buffalo. Wang completed his clinical fellowships in molecular genetics and clinical cytogenetics at Johns Hopkins University, McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine.
