New mu­si­cal in Beth­le­hem

“The Judge­ment Day Mu­si­cal,” a new mu­si­cal by Donna Mosley Pro­duc­tions will come to Touch­stone The­ater in Beth­le­hem for two con­sec­u­tive Sun­days.

The mu­si­cal uses hu­mor, drama, in­spi­ra­tion and sto­ries to ex­plore what ev­ery­day peo­ple think about God, one another, the Bi­ble and life af­ter death. Di­rected by Torez Mosley and nar­rated by Chris­tian hip-hop record­ing artist Nucci Reyo, the show fea­tures Dar­cel Gib­son, Juanita-Re­nay Gray, Tristy Saun­ders, Marlen Am­paro and other lo­cal artists.

Donna Mosley Pro­duc­tions is a the­ater pro­duc­tion com­pany that of­fers mean­ing­ful the­ater.

In 2004 Donna Mosley co-wrote and di­rected “The Point of it All” starring BeBe Wi­nans. The play was pro­duced the New Jersey Per­form­ing Arts Cen­ter (NJPAC) at­tract­ing more than 6,000 peo­ple.

In 2008, the com­pany toured New Jersey with the gospel stage play “Don’t Count Me Out” which re­ceived rave re­views. In 2011, the com­pany pro­duced “Divine In­ter­ven­tion” starring Reyo.

Mosley served as the the­ater direc­tor at Agape Fam­ily Wor­ship Cen­ter, in Rah­way, New Jersey, un­der the lead­er­ship of Pas­tor Lawrence Powell, be­fore re­lo­cat­ing to Bethele­hem in 2008. “Judge­ment Day” is the com­pany’s an­nual play that draws a packed house ev­ery show.

Au­di­ences are warned the pro­duc­tion in­cludes fog and strobe lights as well as other spe­cial ef­fects.
