New musical in Bethlehem
“The Judgement Day Musical,” a new musical by Donna Mosley Productions will come to Touchstone Theater in Bethlehem for two consecutive Sundays.
The musical uses humor, drama, inspiration and stories to explore what everyday people think about God, one another, the Bible and life after death. Directed by Torez Mosley and narrated by Christian hip-hop recording artist Nucci Reyo, the show features Darcel Gibson, Juanita-Renay Gray, Tristy Saunders, Marlen Amparo and other local artists.
Donna Mosley Productions is a theater production company that offers meaningful theater.
In 2004 Donna Mosley co-wrote and directed “The Point of it All” starring BeBe Winans. The play was produced the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) attracting more than 6,000 people.
In 2008, the company toured New Jersey with the gospel stage play “Don’t Count Me Out” which received rave reviews. In 2011, the company produced “Divine Intervention” starring Reyo.
Mosley served as the theater director at Agape Family Worship Center, in Rahway, New Jersey, under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Powell, before relocating to Bethelehem in 2008. “Judgement Day” is the company’s annual play that draws a packed house every show.
Audiences are warned the production includes fog and strobe lights as well as other special effects.
