The skinny: Tough assignment for the Mountain Hawks, who let one get away in the opener. Villanova dominated Patriot League favorite Colgate in its first game and had a week off. Lehigh will look to build off a solid defensive effort against St. Francis and get its running game going on offense where a revolving door up front due to injuries has become problematic. Matt Fest’s return at right guard will help, but Lehigh needs to generate something early during each possession to avoid being stuck in third-andlong all night. The Mountain Hawks aren’t looking for moral victories but if this game is within 17 points entering the fourth quarter, it will be considered one.

Keith Groller’s prediction: Villanova 38, Lehigh 17.
