The Morning Call - - LOCAL NEWS -

Bethlehem police are seeking the public’s help in an investigation into an assault that occurred Aug. 31 at Nisky Hill Cemetery.

Police provided some details Tuesday about the assault that happened around 10 a.m. at the cemetery at 254 E. Church Street.

Authorities say a woman was “paying respects to a loved one,” when she was assaulted by a man. Police did not detail the nature of the assault, but said the person involved was a white man in his 30s who was clean shaven, wearing light colored pants, a possible long-sleeve T-shirt and flat-brim white baseball cap.

Authorities say they are asking anyone with information about the assault or “anyone who feels they may have also been victimized by the same individual” to contact Detective Sean Molony at 610-865-7187. Callers may remain anonymous.
