East Stroudsburg University has named Doug Page the university’s sports information director for the promotion of its 22 varsity sports. Page was previously assistant sports information director at ESU since November. Page will coordinate internal and external communications for ESU’s athletic department, including administration of the athletics website, esuwarriors.com, and social media outlets.
He will also be responsible for compiling and distributing statistics for home athletic events, and the promotion of all athletics results and honors attained by Warriors student-athletes and coaches, along with responsibilities in publications, event management, media relations and office administration.
Prior to ESU, Page was new media coordinator at Barton, North Carolina, sports information director at Salem International in West Virginia and sports information intern at Francis Marion in South Carolina. He also worked in broadcasting for several minor league baseball teams.
Page has his bachelor’s degree in communications from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York.
