The skinny: Pioneers gained 261 yards on 48 running plays in last year’s rout of the Leopards. Pioneers have won the last four meetings. Pioneer whipped Bucknell 30-10 last week. Pioneers QB Logan Marchi is in his first year at SHU but has been a starter at Temple and E Tenn. St. Julius Chestnut scored twice last year for SHU. Leopards’ freshman Keegan Shoemaker has passed for three TDs in two games – only one less than the Leopards had all last year. Leopard o-line has allowed 10 sacks this year, must do better to protect Shoemaker. Leopard defense has allowed an average of 239 ypg. Leopards have only one non-conference win in John Garrett’s third year as head coach.
Paul Reinhard’s pick: Sacred Heart 34-17.
