The Skinny: Fol­low­ing a 54-16 sea­sonopen­ing vic­tory against As­sump­tion, the Kutztown Univer­sity foot­ball team hits the road for the first time in 2019, head­ing west to tus­sle with Cal­i­for­nia (1-0) in the Penn­syl­va­nia State Ath­letic Con­fer­ence (PSAC) opener for both teams. The Golden Bears and Vul­cans will both be look­ing to start league play off on the right foot and re­main un­de­feated over­all . ... Cal U forced seven turnovers and scored a pair of touch­downs on de­fense last week to open the sea­son with a 59-13 win at Saint Anselm. The Vul­cans forced the Hawks into mi­nus-seven rush­ing yards on 14 at­tempts and yielded only one third-down con­ver­sion.
