Get a taste of Greece at St. Nicholas
Here’s your chance to enjoy all the flavors of Greece — right here in the Lehigh Valley.
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will host its annual Fall Food Festival, featuring all the flavors of Greece, Sept. 19-22.
The festival features family activities, tours of the church and traditional Greek dancing.
But the big draw is, of course, the delicious abundance of Greek food favorites you’ll find over the four days of the festival including: pastitsio (a baked pasta dish with ground meat and béchamel sauce), spanakopita (spinach pie) and tyropita (cheese pie), along with traditional desserts such as galaktoboureko (made with a custard in a crispy phyllo pastry shell.)
The church is at 1607 W. Union Blvd.
Hours for the festival: noon to 9 p.m. Sept. 19; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 20 and 21; and noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 21.
