Catch some brews where the IronPigs play

Beer lovers can raise their mugs for an inside the park “home run” by sampling some delicious brews at Allentown’s Coca-Cola Park.

The Lehigh Vally Craft Beer Fest returns to the home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 3-6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21.

Rally at the ballpark for tastings from over two dozen breweries. Guests each get a collector’s 4ounce tasting mug for unlimited beer samples, and can snack away at a variety of food trucks and vendors at the stadium. There will also be games in the outfield grass and live music through the afternoon by The Colour Sound and Dead Jimmy.

Breweries for this year’s event include Troegs Brewing Co., Victory Brewing Co. and Yards Brewing Co.

The festival will also feature a selection of beers with low-to-no sugar, carbohydra­tes, calories and beer that is all natural, vegan, non-GMO, organic and gluten-free. These beers include Michelob Ultra-Pure Gold, Owl’s Brew Boozy Tea, Press Seltzer, Stella Cidre, Crook & Marker Sparkling Beverages and more.

Tickets for the event are on sale now starting at $35 per person for a three-hour unlimited tasting. VIP tickets are $45 and include a 2 p.m. lead-off entrance for a four-hour session.

The number of participan­ts will be limited for this event. Nearly 2,000 guests attend the festival each fall. Designated driver admission to this event is just $5. DD’s get compliment­ary soda. Designated drivers can enter the festival beginning at 2 p.m. and do not require a special VIP ticket.
