EDINBORO (0-2) AT EAST STROUDSBURG (2-0)
When, where: 1:05 p.m. today at Eiler-Martin Stadium, East Stroudbsurg
Radio: WFSE-FM 88.9
Series: ESU leads 13-7.
Last meeting: Edinboro 49, ESU 24 in 2018.
The skinny: Edinboro heads out on the highway for a long trip for the second time in three weeks, and will also play its second straight PSAC crossover contest. The Fighting Scots are in search of their first win after suffering a 35-10 loss at then 12th-ranked Grand Valley State, followed by a 24-21 setback to Bloomsburg in last week's home opener. ESU is off to a surprising 2-0 start with road wins at Wagner (24-14) and Seton Hill (31-18). The Warriors were picked to finish sixth in the PSAC East after going 2-9 a year ago. They are under the direction of former standout quarterback Jimmy Terwilliger, the 2005 Harlon Hill Trophy recipient. Terwilliger took over on an interim basis with two games left in the 2018 campaign. As a player, he bedeviled the Fighting Scots on several occasions. This is the home opener for ESU.
