Climate change concerns are ‘radical nonsense’
So a 15-year-old sits in front of the Swedish Parliament protesting the lack of action on the climate and is lauded for it in the national news. The Morning Call prints an article about a student heroically planning to cut school to attend a climate change rally that is made up mostly of youths.
These are children who for the most part lack the education or the ability to even begin to understand the world around them. Stop abusing these kids by scaring them into thinking the world will end in 12 years!
The adults in the room need to start acting like adults and push back on all of this radical nonsense. It all reminds me of the drug-induced stupidity that occurred in the 1960s.
We live on a planet, tilted on an axis on an elliptical orbit around our sun. Climate change is a natural occurrence. There have been countless cooling and warming trends on this Earth long before mankind ever appeared. Michael McCloud Whitehall Township
