Po­lice: Fake Louis Vuit­ton bags found

EPHRATA — A se­cond ven­dor has been charged af­ter po­lice in Lan­caster County say he was found with fake Louis Vuit­ton hand­bags.

Michael K. Sha, 62, of Mount Lau­rel, New Jersey, is fac­ing charges of trade­mark coun­ter­feit­ing for pos­sess­ing roughly 250 coun­ter­feit Louis Vuit­ton items, ac­cord­ing to the Ephrata po­lice.

Po­lice on Sept. 13 had charged the first ven­dor, Ndi­aye L. Serignel, 50, of Staten Is­land, New York, af­ter they found him with the bags mim­ick­ing the high-end ver­sions at the Green Dragon Mar­ket and Auc­tion, po­lice say.

Po­lice say a Louis Vuit­ton se­cu­rity team had pur­chased some of the phony items and alerted in­ves­ti­ga­tors, who con­fis­cated more than 500 hand­bags and other items.
