Movie makers should have mouths washed out with soap
How sad it was to see all of the five films in The Morning Call’s Sept. 19 “Now Playing” column carried an R rating.
What was particularly disturbing was the space devoted to the movie “Good Boys,” a comedy featuring ‘“sixth graders f-bombing their way through a series of adolescence-threatening adventures.” The review mentions the story’s reliance on “the comic potential of kids swearing like it’s a ‘South Park’ audition.”
The producers of this stinker should have their mouths washed out with soap, the time-honored punishment for kids using the f-word within hearing of their parents.
