Cel­e­brate the chang­ing of sea­sons while en­joy­ing au­then­tic Ger­man cui­sine at Kingfish Amer­i­can Bistro & Wine Bar’s third an­nual Ok­to­ber­fest, through Satur­day.

A spe­cial menu fea­tures en­trees of wiener­schnitzel (thinly breaded, crispy fried veal with mush­room gravy), sauer­braten (48-hour-mar­i­nated, braised beef short ribs) and schwenkbra­ten (8-ounce mar­i­nated pork Del­monico, fire-grilled with mush­room gravy). All en­trees are served with braised red cab­bage and red­skin mashed pota­toes.

Other ad­di­tions in­clude sides such as house-made sauer­kraut and spaet­zle; ap­pe­tiz­ers such as ched­dar jalapeno bratwurst, konigs­berger klopse (Bavar­ian meat­balls) and flammkuche­n (crispy Ger­man pizza); and a dessert of sweet crois­sant beignets, served with maple bour­bon pra­line pecan ice cream.

An Ok­to­ber­fest drink menu in­cludes sea­sonal se­lec­tions such as an ap­ple cider mule, pump­kin mar­tini, house-made “har­vest san­gria” and South­ern Tier Brew­ing Co.’s Pump­king Im­pe­rial Ale.

Dur­ing the event, Kingfish’s reg­u­lar menu in­clud­ing its sushi se­lec­tions, $20 three-course menu (avail­able Tues­day through Thurs­day) and happy hour deals (avail­able 4-7 p.m. Tues­day through Thurs­day and 5-7 p.m. Satur­days in bar and lounge) will be avail­able as well.
