Donald Trump should be removed from office

The Morning Call - - TOWN SQUARE -

Dan Meuser, Republican representative for the 9th District, lambasted Democrats for “lost opportunities by focusing on impeachment” in the Town Square section of The Morning Call on Oct. 5. I’m a registered independent and believe that there should be no higher priority than impeaching this president.

I believe he won his election with Russian collusion and then obstructed the investigation. Read the definition of collusion and obstruction. Then read the report. You’ll find plenty of collusion and subsequent obstruction.

Compound that with seeking foreign help in the next election, and what looks like extortion. Maybe then you, too, will recognize the importance of impeaching and removing this president from office. It should be done with a bipartisan Senate vote.

President Trump is bad for Democrats, Republicans and our democracy. Thomas Edwin Frantz Upper Macungie Township
