DELAWARE — LB Drew Nickles (Palisades) got a week off as the Blue Hens had a bye last week, but he did collect home hardware after being named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week for his 12-tackle performance against Pitt on Sept, 28.
The Upper Black Eddy native has racked up 30 tackles, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one interception this season.
RICHMOND — Freshman LB Tristan Wheeler (Freedom) had a huge day for the Spiders, racking up 11 tackles, two for a loss, and one sack in a 23-20 win over Albany.
Wheeler has 40 total tackles and three sacks in five games this season.
NEW HAMPSHIRE —LB Cameron Brusko (Liberty) recorded four total tackles and one pass breakup in Saturday’s 26-10 homecoming win over Elon. Brusko has 31 total stops, three tackles for a loss and one sack in 2019.
TOWSON — RB Shane Simpson (Easton) had a week to rest as Towson had the week off. Simpson has not played since a Sept. 14 game against Maine. For the season, he has 22 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns on the ground to go with five receptions for 62 yards and a score.
LAFAYETTE — DB Tre Jordan (Notre Dame GP) and WR Julian Spigner (Bethlehem Catholic) both had the week off as the Leopards had a bye. For the season, Jordan has
seven total tackles over three games, while Spigner has hauled in 10 passes for 133 yards and two scores over five games.
DUQUESNE — LB Jahan Worth (Parkland) had the week off but has posted four total tackles over four games this season.
HARVARD — WR Joe Young (Freedom) played but did not record any stats in the Crimson’s 62-17 win over Howard on Saturday. For the season, Young has one catch for nine yards.
STONY BROOK — LB EJ Fineran (Bethlehem Catholic) did not play in Saturday’s 45-38 overtime loss to James Madison. For the season, Fineran has four total tackles and two solo stops.
TEXAS STATE — DB Alvin Pacheco (Central Catholic) has seen action in five games for Texas State this season and posted seven total tackles and four solo tackles this season.
