Man faces drug charges following arrest, police say

A 36-year-old man is facing charges of making threats and having heroin and cocaine following his arrest Tuesday morning following a report about a domestic disturbanc­e, police said.

Ian B. Corbin had fled from a home in the 100 block of East Cumberland Street, police Capt. Bill Lake said. Police had been called to the home at 9:24 a.m. on a report of a domestic disturbanc­e involving Corbin and a 27-year-old woman, he said.

Officers located Corbin nearby and found that he was carrying cocaine and heroin, Lake said.

Corbin was charged with one count each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and terroristi­c threats and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned by District Judge Michael Pochron and was sent to Lehigh County Jail under $25,000 bail.

McFadden allegedly sped by a Whitehall Township patrol officer on MacArthur Road shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday, police say.

As the officer tried to catch up, McFadden crashed into a car near the intersecti­on with Mickley Road, police say.

McFadden was caught after a short foot chase, police say. McFadden and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, police say.

McFadden was arraigned after being released from the hospital.

Itinger was released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

Itinger was driving south in the 3300 block of Route 100 shortly after 7 p.m. on July 17 when he crossed into the northbound lane and hit two vehicles, state police said.

One of the vehicles was knocked backward off the road into a tree. The driver was extricated and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, police said.
