- By Ryan Kneller

Foodies will find a mouthwatering assortment of dining draws in the Lehigh Valley next week as restaurant weeks take over the Northern Lehigh area and Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, beginning Sunday. Both events feature fixed-priced, multi-course menus and other dining deals.

The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Winter Restaurant Week, continuing through Feb. 29, will feature eight participants, including popular spots such as Curious Goods at the Bake Oven Inn in Germansville and Mama’s Pizza in Slatington.

Willow Street Pub in North Whitehall Township will offer a $20, three-course meal with entree choices of broiled crab cakes, shepherd’s pie, black diamond steak and chicken parmesan over linguine; while 19th Grille at Woodstone Country Club in Danielsville will offer dishes at special prices, including its French onion crock ($4), Woodstone burger ($10), crab avocado salad ($14) and filet mignon ($27 for 5-ounce and $37 for 8-ounce).

“The landscape of Greater Northern Lehigh is widespread and diverse; our restaurants are no different,” Kylie Adams, manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, said in a news release. “Restaurant Week offers an opportunity to get out and try new places and revisit old favorites while supporting our local community! Especially when we’re all fighting through these grey winter months, it’s a great excuse to get out of the house and plan a night out with friends or family.”

Other deals include $2 off any signature sandwich at Back Home Bagels in Schnecksville; buy one entree, get one half off at The Art of Flavors in Slatington and Legends Valley at the Best Station Hotel in Washington Township; and $7.50 for a drink, small cup of soup, small mac and cheese or coleslaw, any style hot dog and dessert at Mr. Doggy Style hot dog shop in Walnutport.

Curious Goods at the Bake Oven Inn in Germansville will offer a three-course menu, $33, with entree choices of slow-roasted boneless beef ribs, smoked pork tenderloin and more. Info: greaternorthernlehigh.com.
